June Ipsy Bag!!!

Hey guys! I recently signed up to subscribe for a monthly Ipsy bag. If you don't know what it is, it's a company that sends you beauty samples every month for just $10.00. I was a little worried about it at first like "what if I'm wasting ten bucks a month for things I won't even like or use?" But, I just got my first Ipsy bag for June and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised, I like EVERYTHING in it, so I decided I would share with you all.

First off, they send the samples in a little makeup bag which I think is very cute. From my understanding they send a different bag every month. This one is black, soft to the touch with an orange zipper and the word "Ipsy" all over the front.

This .85 oz of Pure Vanilla The Healthy Body Butter was included from Lavanila Laboratories was included. I don't see a big difference, it's much like any other lotion, but it is always handy to have lotion around so I see this as a plus.

This Formula X nail polish in the shade "Power Source" was also included. It's much more of a neon coral-ly shade more on the pinkish side. It is a very pretty colour and something I would wear, maybe not often but definitely for that kick with a monochromatic look perhaps.

tréSrique Mini Shadow Crayon in the shade "Kona Coffee" was also a part of this months Ipsy bag. I usually don't use crayon shadows but i guess it's because i don't go for them in the stores, I usually stick with the regular powdered shadows. I tried this one out and again I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it.

I used this OFRA Turquoise Eyeliner to do a look with the previous item. Truth be told I was expecting them to clash, but it turned out pretty nice. If you guys want to see the look please let me know. This eyeliner I think will be super fun I love playing around with colourful liners.

Last but not least, is the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. I usually don't wear primer unless it's a special occasion or I want my makeup to stay for a longer time, although truthfully I never really notice a difference, except when it comes to actually applying the foundation. In this case I would suggest not wearing this with a matte foundation, I made the mistake and did that and it made my face look very dry and every little imperfection was oddly magnified... so wear a non-matte foundation with this primer.
